Commrade Al-Ahmar discussed with the secretary-general of the Yemeni Liberation Party the role of Arab parties in consolidating the nation steadfastness
On Wednesday 30/6/2004, comrade Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the assistant secretary-general of the Baath Arab Socialist party, discussed with Ahmad Ali Said, the secretary-general of the Yemeni Unionist People liberation Party, the relations between the two parties in addition to the situations in the region and their challenges and dangers that threaten the Arab nation in her identity, present and future, especially the Israeli aggression and its genocide war against the Palestinian people. They also discussed the situation in Iraq, the sufferance of his people due to the lack of security and stability and the repercussions of this on the region. The talk revolved around the role of the people parties and organizations on the Arab arena in consolidating the nation steadfastness and fighting for her rights.

The secretary-general of the Yemeni Unionist people Liberation Party confirmed his party solidarity with Syria in facing the American Sanctions and in her rights to recover the occupied Syrian Golan.

Both parties expressed their condemnation to the Israeli aggressive practices and their solidarity with the Palestinian people in their resistance against the Israeli occupation in order to liberate their land and recover their rights.

Regarding the Iraqi issue they emphasized that the Iraqi people must recover their complete sovereignty of their land and fortunes, maintain their unity and decide their future by themselves without any interference or foreign pressures.
