On 26/7/2005, comrade Abdullah Al-ahmar, assistant secretary-general of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, met Abdulaziz Al-sayid, secretary-general of Arab Parties Conference in the presence of Safwan Kodsi , member of the secretariat-general of the Conference, member of the central leadership of the National Progressive Front and secretary-general of Arab Socialist Union in Syria.
The Talk during the meeting revolved around the activities of Arab Parties Conference, the role of these parties in serving the Nation's objectives and defending her rights, the current situations in the region, especially in Palestine and Iraq, and the foreign pressures on Syria. These pressures serve only the interest of Israel and threaten the security and stability of the region.
On his part, the secretary-general of Arab Parties Conference expressed his appreciation of Syria stands and the role undertaken by his Excellency president Bashar Al-assad to defend the national rights, identity and future of the Arab Nation.
