Comrade Abdullah al-Ahmar, Assistant Secretary General of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, met on 11.8.2005 Mr. Ali Zagdoud, the head of the Algerian group Party.
During the meeting, the speech dealt with the relations between the two brother parties and countries, and the role of Arab parties in serving the Arab nation’s causes and defending its rights.
The speech referred to the current situations in the region especially in Palestine and Iraq, as well as, the practices of the foreign hegemony powers that come to the advantage of Israel and threaten the region's security and stability.
Mr. Zagdoud has expressed his appreciation to President Bashar al-Assad’s stances that defend the rights, dignity, and the future of the nation.
