Chairman of the regional organization bureau in the Regional Leadership of al-Baath Party comrade Said Elia, reviewed on 30.6.2007, with the delegation of the Democratic Korea Work party headed by Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Relations' Bureau at the party's Central Committee Kim Tai Jong, the close bilateral relations joining the two friendly parties and countries, and the means of boosting and developing them in the future.
Comrade Elia talked about the process of construction and advancement Syria witnesses in various fields in consequence of the developing and modernization process leaded by president Bashar Assad. He also went into the political situations and Syria's firm and fundamental positions, assuring her support to the peace process based on international legitimate resolutions that ensure stability and peace to the region's countries and peoples.
For his part, the Korean delegation assured the strong relations relating the two countries and the importance of their continuity and stabilization to the interest of the two peoples' interests.
On the other hand, the secretary of Damascus country's party section, Dr. Daas Ezzeddin, discussed with the democratic Korean delegation the partisan relations and the means of developing them between the two friendly Parties. Moreover, he reviewed the organizational state and the Party's various activities and its supervising role towards the institutions in order to enhance the process of work, production and progress.
