Assistant Secretary General of al-Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party Abdullah al-Ahmar discussed on 10.12.2006 with Dr. Mustafa Othman Ismael, the Sudanese President's Advisor, the Arab situation in General and the condition in the Palestinian, Lebanese and Iraqi arenas in particular. As well as, the whole dangers surrounding the Arab Nation due to the occupation and external pressures.
Talks during the meeting focused on the necessity of adherence to the firm principles, Arab rights and solidarity to face the current challenges and pressures the Arab Nation is exposed to, and end the Israeli occupation to the Arab territories in Palestine, Sheb'a Farms and Syrian Golan.
Both sides, also, emphasized the significance of finding a solution to the current Lebanese political crisis in line with the national reconciliation and the resistance to face the Zionist enemy and reject foreign tutelage on Lebanon's affairs to protect it from the plots hatched to bring Lebanon back to the civil war.
