The member of the regional leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party comrade Osamah Adi, the head of the regional farmers bureau, reviewed on 28.2.2008 with the delegation of Arab-Cuban amity association headed by Dr. Kampras, the head of the association, enhancing and developing the cooperation relations between the two friendly countries to serve their common benefits and issues.
Comrade Adi referred to the history of the bilateral relations between Syria and Cuba, and between the Baath and the Cuban communist parties. As well as, the pressures practiced on them in consequence of their position in facing the projects of hegemony and exploiting the peoples' wealth and benefits.
For his part, Dr. Kampras assured Cuba's support to Syria and the Palestinian people in Gaza against the occupation and hegemony.
