On the anniversary of the Correction Movement in 16/11/2003 Al.Baath newspaper said in its editorial by comrade Abdullah Al.Ahmar , Assistant Secretary General of the (BASP) , that the Correction Movement led by the late leader Hafez Al.Assad , based on the maturity of the transformation consciousness and the experience of the (BASP) and the other national , international and progressive active forces in this great country and along the Arab region. Furthermore , the initial reality means the objective treatment of dealing with changeable issues and challenges . For this , President Bashar Al.Assad presented the project of development , modernization and reform as a natural turning point came from the notion of the Baath Party , the Correction Movement and the people .
He added that if the Arabs surrendered , so there were no need for the dominating powers and Israel to escalate their aggression in such a savage way that never happened in the modern history . This aggression made our peoples in the occupied Golan and Iraq more powerful and solid . It is an Arabic resisting climate , and a new arousing that turned the Arabs from the ignorant unknown position to the world central concerned one . This climate which Syria has put its basis , is depending on the method and philosophy of the Correction Movement . This explains the strong press campaign of the departments related to Zionism in US against Syria .
At the end of the editorial , comrade Al.Ahmar confirmed that it is necessary to continue this way , and quick the steps of development and modernization process is a conviction can be seen in the popular supporting to the stands of the country and its leader president Bashar Al.Assad and his inclinations on the levels of internal , national and international policy .
